About

Marston Street Studio is Tiffany Smith — a Canadian professional Graphic Designer focused on quality output across physical and digital mediums.

From boutique fitness studios to indigenous led and owned engineering consultancies, audiobook production platforms to top law firms, I’ve partnered with a diverse range of businesses throughout my career in design and therefore have developed a hybrid range of skills. I strive to bring a sophisticated and systemic approach to concepting brands, all in an effort to help them connect deeply and in multiple ways through worldbuilding and storytelling.

When working with clients, I aim to bring their ideas, their stories, the things they've built and the work they've created to audiences who want to see and experience something new.

In a world that’s perpetually changing, I think the key to relevancy and making a lasting impression is through thoughtfully crafted aesthetics, intentionally curated details, and experiences carefully layered with surprises.

Hometown

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Hamilton is about a 45 minute drive from Toronto. It’s A.K.A the “Waterfall Capital of the World.”

It’s where famous people like Martin Short and Eugene Levy were born. Movies like The Shape of Water and Suicide Squad, and shows like The Handmaid’s Tale and Umbrella Academy are filmed here. Even HRH Camilla, Queen Consort has ties to early settlers of the city.

“Don’t go for second best, baby.”

I pledge to do great work, and be the best creative partner you’ve worked with. Ever.

The trick is not minding that it hurts.

The trick is not minding that it hurts.

I've always had this itch inside of me to do something bigger.

Do you know that feeling? That burst of excitement that froths from your gut when you have an idea, a vision for something better? I get that feeling quite often when I think about the endless ways I can use the tools of design to create meaningful experiences, bring magic to life, and create a positive impact on the lives of others.

As a graphic designer-of-sorts, I get to combine my skills and experience to help other businesses grow and thrive.

That said, I'm fascinated in finding ways to conjure the emotions behind a brands' story to stir the senses and create visceral experiences that resonate with people on different levels. I believe that thoughtful relevance is how brands can show their authenticity and really connect with their audiences. That's why I focus on working with clients, businesses, and brands who want to connect with their fans on a deeper level and in multiple ways through worldbuilding and storytelling.

During the process, I help my clients bake their story into everything, and turning their business into more than just a product or service, rather, something that people want to be a part of.
